AIR TICKETS

If you’re planning to travel on the same dates of the official programme without any changes, the VUMI® Convention Team will coordinate your air tickets with the authorised travel agency.
Should you wish to plan your own travel and request a reimbursement of the approved amount for airfare, you must do so before February 17.  Send an email to vgconvention@vumigroup.com to enquire about the approved reimbursement amount for your airfare. This amount is based on your country of residence. Make sure to keep the VUMI® team updated of any changes.

TRANSFERS

For those travelling within the established dates of the Convention, arriving in
Las Vegas on April 3 and departing on April 7, VUMI® will handle all the necessary transfers.

VISA
REQUIREMENTS

To visit the United States, you will need an up-to-date passport and a valid visa, should visas be required for citizens of your country. Click on this link for more information  https://www.dhs.gov/visa-waiver-program-requirements

Obtaining a Visitor Visa (if required) is your responsibility. VUMI® will not be responsible for processing the visa of any Convention participant. Click here to begin the process https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/tourism-visit/visitor.html#documentation. Each individual who needs a visa must submit a separate application, including for any family member listed in the passport.

Please make sure your passport meets these important specifications:             It must be valid for at least six months beyond your period of stay in the U.S. (unless exempt by country-specific agreements), and it must have at least THREE unused CONSECUTIVE pages for entry/departure endorsements.

REIMBURSEMENT

Refund rates: VUMI® will reimburse the cost of air tickets according to the rate approved for your country of residence. If the cost of the ticket exceeds the established rate of the reimbursable amount, the participant will be responsible for the balance. If a ticket costs less than the applicable maximum amount, this difference will not be exchanged for cash, nor will it be granted in any other form of credit. To learn about the reimbursement rate established for your country of residence please send an email to vgconvention@vumigroup.com.

To process your refund, you must send the following documents to vgconvention@vumigroup.com:

  • Completed Reimbursement Form, available here.

  •  An issued air ticket showing your full name, travel itinerary and total cost. Reservation documents will not be accepted for reimbursement.

  • Receipt or proof of payment for the air ticket.

Notifications: All those who organise their own trip are responsible for the coordination and payment of their air tickets, as well as for transfers and additional nights of accommodation they may require. This information must be sent to vgconvention@vumigroup.com.

Make sure to keep the VUMI® team updated about any changes in your travel itinerary.

COVID-19
REQUIREMENTS

The United States is welcoming overseas visitors, provided they meet governmental entry requirements and follow the country’s health and safety protocols.
Please check here for the most up-to-date COVID-19 requirements, as posted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.

Air Travel: All non-U.S. citizens and non-U.S. immigrants travelling to the United States by air are required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Only limited exceptions apply. Learn more about this requirement and accepted vaccines.

If you are not fully vaccinated and allowed to travel to the United States by air through an exception, you will be required to sign an attestation (legal statement) before you board your flight to the United States stating you meet the exception. Depending on the type of exception, you may also have to state you have arranged to take certain protective measures.

For more information check out the FAQ section of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control website here.
